With the 2022 release we have introduced full support for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microfocus.com\/en-us\/what-is\/chaos-engineering\">chaos engineering<\/a> events, and these can be added during your test design.<\/p>\n<p> This new capability will allow LoadRunner Professional customers to take advantage of these benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Testing the resiliency of your systems<\/li>\n<li>Find faults before they hit production<\/li>\n<li>Introduce chaos events in a controlled non-production system<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance in real time during performance tests<\/li>\n<li>Use collected measurements in LoadRunner Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Support for multiple scenarios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Load Generation and Controller health:<br \/> <\/strong>With the 2022 release we have added a new feature to monitor and report on the health of your controller and load generators.<\/p>\n<p> This new capability offers the following benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lowering the TCO for our customers<\/li>\n<li>Providing more accurate and truthful performance metrics<\/li>\n<li>Modernizing our solution<\/li>\n<li>Collects system resources when running test<\/li>\n<li>Controller and LG resources graph can be displayed during test execution and in LoadRunner Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Can be used in LoadRunner Analysis to diagnose performance issues when merged with other data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LoadRunner as a Data-Hub:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2022 has introduced an exciting new feature called LoadRunner data-hub.<\/p>\n<p> This new capability is built on top of the Kafka distributed streaming platform and will offer the following benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offers the capability to fetch\/subscribe data from running performance tests<\/li>\n<li>Data can be exported and used externally<\/li>\n<li>Performance metrics can be viewed live or used later in LoadRunner Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Common Interface across the entire LoadRunner family<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Full Unicode support:<br \/> <\/strong>LoadRunner Professional 2022 is now fully Unicode compliant and fully configurable to support many locales.<\/p>\n<p>This new capability offers the following features:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New code page and locale options allowing transfer from ANSI to UTF8<\/li>\n<li>Support for multiple languages<\/li>\n<li>Providing full Unicode compliancy<\/li>\n<li>Creating the foundations to support future updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Introducing a new protocol \u2013 Kafka<br \/> <\/strong>In this release we have introduced replay only support for the Kafka protocol and with this feature we provide the following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kafka APIs have been introduced<\/li>\n<li>New measurements available to report on<\/li>\n<li>Added to the Java bundle and community license to increase adoption<\/li>\n<li>Creating the foundations to support future updates to extend our support on this technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Service Virtualization:<\/strong><br \/>In this release we are very pleased to announce that we have started to embed Service Virtualization capabilities into LoadRunner solutions.<\/p>\n<p> These new capabilities will offer the following benefits to our customers:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Free Service Virtualization capabilities for all LoadRunner Professional customers<\/li>\n<li>Customers can take advantage of the ability to simulate up to a maximum of 7 virtual services<\/li>\n<li>Ability to upgrade to full Service Virtualization offering<\/li>\n<li>Test earlier in your development cycle<\/li>\n<li>Removes the dependency on external services or may be too expensive for \u2018Test &amp; Pre-Prod\u2019 environments<\/li>\n<li>Supports end-to-end continuous testing<\/li>\n<li>Simulate services that may not be available our outside of your environment<\/li>\n<li>Create, record and simulate services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;For the full list of updates, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/admhelp.microfocus.com\/lr\/en\/2022\/help\/WebHelp\/Content\/WelcomeContent\/c_WhatsNew.htm\">ADM Help<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;We hope you all enjoy this release!
